Rockingham K9, Inc. 501(c)(3) Search & Rescue Team offers services throughout New England. Our diverse team includes members with law enforcement, emergency medical service, veterinary, and lost person behavior experience. Current K9's include a: boxer cross, a Beauceron, and multiple German Shepherds. Additionally, our team offers the Hug-A-Tree program and live presentations/demonstrations. Our
well behaved Pet Therapy dogs are the highlight of the day at local area skilled nursing facilities. Our Group Obedience & Agility. Obedience classes are 6 weeks in length teaching basic obedience and addressing behavioral issues. Agility for Fun is an ongoing drop in class covering A-Frames, Teeter Totter, Tunnels, Jumps and more. Our partnership with the Sununu Youth Services Center allows residents to learn the basics of dog obedience, behavior, and care. We are in the process of adding dogs to this program from the Animal Rescue Network of New England. Residents at the Sununu Youth Services Center in partnership with Rockingham K9, Inc. will be responsible for training these shelter dogs in basic obedience prior to adoption.
