⚠️BE PREPARED FOR WINTER WEATHER CONDITIONS THIS WEEKEND

The coldest temperatures for the season are expected to begin Friday, January 12 and continue through Monday, January 15. The National Weather Service predicts intermittent rain and snow with cool temperatures throughout the weekend. Some snow and ice accumulation are possible at elevations as low as 300 ft., so there may be snow on the valley floor with ice underneath.

If you do not need to leave your home this weekend, don’t! Plan to run errands and complete important tasks before the storm on Friday. Your safest course of action is to remain inside and avoid potentially hazardous conditions on the roads.

If you are traveling this weekend, schedule in extra time to get to your destination and visit www.tripcheck.com for up-to-date road conditions.

⚠️ Potential Power Outages in the Santiam Canyon
Consumer Power Inc. is predicting regionwide power outages due to winter weather from Friday night through Saturday. CPI is preparing to open the EOC on Saturday morning if the scale of damage compels an organizational level effort.
