I did a big promotion for the 10th Annual Oregon Prayer Breakfast last night on the Thursday night, weekly Intercessors For America Oregon Prayer Call. Normally that call lasts 30-60 minutes, last night lasted for 1.5hrs (Oregon, USA & World) and I got a 3 minute promo right at the end.
10th Annual Oregon Prayer Breakfast at Willamette University Goudy Commons. Hoping to break the record of 7 people to attend the annual event.
Goudy Commons opens at 7am.
We will be meeting along the North end along the Creek (inside the bldg.)
Parking is along Winter Street, 8am parking permit on dash board of your car required. $1.50/hr or you may get a $20 ticket. Can be purchased before 8am at kiosk's, no individual meters, but time on ticket starts at 8am. Can pay with coins or card.
Unfortunately we are not praying in one of the adjoining rooms like the Hines room. (The first year I rented the Autzen Room in the Putnam bldg, the 2nd & 3rd years I rented a smaller side room) We will meet in the general seating area where others are eating. NO LOUD PRAYING, just loud enough for the group to hear, strictly enforced by me the leader, you'll be asked to leave otherwise.
Breakfast is 7:30-8am, Cafeteria style eating normal breakfast food and beverage, all you can eat, flat fee about $7.
8:00-8:05am reading Psalm 86, as we do each year.
8:05-9:00am, then each participant shares for 3 minutes what their highlights (major things for them for 2024) are for the year, followed by the other participants praying for them and their feet for 1 minute.
