OETC is a nonprofit that empowers educational institutions. We represent our membership in organizing cost effective, cooperative purchases through a sealed, competitive bid process. Membership with OETC is currently over 900 strong, and open to all educational institutions in the United States—rural and central, large and small, old and new. As a nonprofit, our organization doesn’t answer to shar
eholders, sell customer data or solicit donations. Instead, OETC members annually elect a Board of Directors to oversee operations. Through their vote, members have the ability to influence board representation and put their interests first. We also work with our membership to invest time and money back into the educational communities we serve; OETC events support and connect educators, administrators and leaders. We do what we do because we believe that technology presents meaningful opportunities to improve teaching and learning, and is necessary to prepare students for an interconnected world. OETC is committed to making purchasing technology simple, reliable, and affordable to meet the needs of teaching and learning.
