Straub Outdoors Straub Outdoors provides nature-based education programs throughout Oregon for children ages 6-13. At Straub Outdoors, our classroom is the Great Outdoors!

Straub Outdoors (formerly the Straub Environmental Center) is a nonprofit organization offering educational programs that increase science literacy, promote sustainable approaches to daily life, highlight Oregon's natural and cultural resources, and create an understanding of the natural world. Our programs take place at state parks and other awe-inspiring natural areas throughout Western Oregon.

We offer opportunities to learn about nature . . . in nature. Our college-educated field instructors help kids foster emotional and intellectual connections to the natural world through guided multi-sensory explorations that meet Next Generation Science Standards (and are a lot of fun).
