The Church of God of Prophecy North American Missions was established for the purpose of recognizing the tremendous contribution of Native Americans and their desire to lift up the name of Jesus Christ to their beloved people scattered throughout this continent. First established near Pinehill, New Mexico with its first congregation called Yahweh Church of God of Prophecy, this dedicated group has

now been joined by a greater body of Native Americans who are committed to the move of the Holy Spirit on all of their indigenous nations. On September 27, a group of 12 gathered in Chattanooga, Tennessee to begin a collective effort to reach the native people of North America.

I am excited to be at Pinehill, New Mexico this coming weekend of June 27-28 with the Yahweh Church of God of Prophecy. It will be great to join Pastor Patchie Cohoe and Paator Bob Beaver on Saturday at 10 am for Leadership Training and on Sunday at 10 am for their weekly worship service. Hope to see all our great Navajo family!

The Native American Outreach Council met today via Zoom to discuss and plan joint efforts to promote evangelism and church planting on the Indigenous Nations of North America. Moderated by Chief Don Stanton, the group included Bishop Wallace Pratt, Bishop Sylvester Smith, Bishop Scott Lee, Pastor Trevor, and Mary Lou Stanton. This group met to discuss possible outreach sites, strategy, a mission statement, and ways to do more kingdom outreach and church planting by building relationships with Native American nations and tribes. Coming this June 27-28, 2026, Regional Bishop Wallace Pratt and Utah/Navajo Presbyter Jimmy Poma, will be visiting the Yahweh Church of God of Prophecy in Pinehill, New Mexico. Beginning on Saturday at 10 AM through 4 PM, Bishop Poma will be teaching at the Yahweh Church of God of Prophecy. This will be followed on Sunday at the 10 AM with Bishop Pratt preaching in the morning service.
