Getting down to the last few hours before we perform. Dress code will be Jean bottom wheather that's pants shorts skirt doesn't matter. Just Jean bottoms and a black top. Again doesn't matter what kind of top just black. It can have some lettering on it just keep it simple. Maybe something country. We will be meeting at noon at the gerry frank amphitheater that's where you'll get your entry tickets to get in as well. If you need a parking pass I have only 6 and will only find them to people who are car pooling to save space. At least 3 or more people. First come first serve. Everyone who wants to perform. At the world beat needs to let me know by Friday at 8pm. Please send me a message so I can get final details out to you. Song list was posted and we definitely need as many couples for swing and the couples dances. You don't have to dance to every song just the ones you know. Thank you

Practice run for the world beat will be at the riverfront part June 22nd at 11am. We will go over all the details and run thru the music and dances a few times. Please bring partner's if you have them for the partner dances. Share with as many people as you can and spread the word for people to co.e watch us as well.

Ok everyone here is our song list. We are doing a evolution of line dancing. We will start from the classics and show thru the years how is changed.

The classics

Then couples dances

5. Schottische - TBD

Then 2 swing songs. One slow one faster
6. Slow swing - Wild as her
7. Fast swing - Creek Will Rise (Connor Smith or Legends are made ( Sam Tinnesz )

Then more updated country songs.

Then move into non country music dances

If we have time we can add one or two at the festival I will have everything ready and we can decide there.

Ok everyone for the world beat we still need more people. Especially swing dancers and couples for couple dances. We are going to be doing a evolution of country line dancing. We are starting off with a few classics ( Footloose, Chattahoochee, ect. Then we will do a couples dance or two. Probably a horseshoe and schottische. And then 2 swing songs. Then we will do a couple newer country songs. And lastly finish up with a few hip hop popular songs. I will have the list up tomorrow along with a few extras in case we have time.

Let's welcome everyone to a new year and new opportunities for some line dancing fun. We are working with a few malls in Portland to do a mall take over " Flash Mob " but in order to finish the details I need to know how many people are interested in joining us.
