Every JLAD service dog's journey starts with a strong foundation — and that includes expert veterinary care from day one. Huge thanks to The Pet Clinic for giving our I-Litter puppies their first full wellness exam, setting them up for healthy, successful futures as life-changing service dogs.
Partnerships like this one are what make it possible for JLAD to raise dogs who go on to serve veterans, first responders, and individuals with disabilities. Thank you, The Pet Clinic team, for being part of these dogs' journey from the very beginning ~🐾

Training Day at OSCI: When Everyone Teaches, Everyone Learns ~ 🐾

Recently, our Socializers had the incredible opportunity to head into OSCI for hands-on, one-on-one training sessions with our AIC handlers — and the impact went both directions.
Our AIC trainers stepped into the teaching role, walking Socializers through real training techniques and helping troubleshoot the exact issues they'd been running into at home. Meanwhile, new AIC dog handlers sat in, watched, and took notes — building their own skills for the dogs they'll be working with next.
That's the power of this program: it's not just about training service dogs — it's about building a community where everyone, human and canine, is learning from each other.
