✨ Powwow Season Is Coming ✨

The Siletz Regalia Sharing Closet is now booking for the upcoming powwow season.
If your tribe, university, school, or community is hosting a powwow, email us your event details. We’d love to connect and see how we can partner.
While support such as travel assistance, vendor space, accommodations, or donations are always appreciated it is never required. (We won't turn down some huckleberries either! 🫐Thanks Chiloquin!)
Our mission remains the same wherever we go: access, culture, and lifting each other up.🌱💫

Let’s make sure every dancer who wants to step forward has what they need 💓

Thanks to a Cultural Trust grant award, the Siletz Regalia Sharing Closet will be purchasing a vehicle to help bring their regalia, presentations and workshops to more communities across the state.

The Siletz Regalia Sharing Closet shares: "We envision a future where all Native people, regardless of background or ability, have full and free access to their cultural identity through regalia, dancing and shared traditions. Culture is prevention: this belief drives our aim to strengthen physical, mental, emotional and spiritual wellness across generations and communities. We envision Native people, regardless of their tribal affiliation, united in pride and belonging through shared cultural experiences."

We hope your new vehicle quickly widens your ability to offer access to these significant cultural identities!

Partnered with the University of Oregon Homeflight Scholars Program to hold a belt workshop at the Many Nations Longhouse this weekend. (If you are an enrolled member thinking about undergrad - check out this scholarship program! https://financialaid.uoregon.edu/home-flight )
This has been our fifth workshop with an average of over 20 participants per workshop, we have helped complete over a 100 belts! ❤️ We are so grateful to continue being inspired by the creativity and dedication of our participants, constantly learning new tips and tricks.
Excited to see these new creations on the powwow trail, walk across a graduation stage, paired with a ribbon skirt, and inspire more to want to create their own regalia.✨🫶🏽

We have been growing over the past two years since we first launched the closet in August 2023! With this support we can purchase a travel trailer, and expand our size offerings for future powwows.❤️
