On September 11, 2001, our nation was forever changed.

Today, EANGOR remembers the nearly 3,000 lives lost and honors the first responders, service members, and civilians who demonstrated extraordinary courage in the face of unimaginable tragedy.

For the men and women of the National Guard, September 11 marked the beginning of a new era of service and sacrifice. Oregon’s Guard members answered the call alongside Guard members across the nation — serving at home and around the world to protect our communities and our country.

Today, we honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice, remember the families who continue to carry their loss, and recognize the generations of service members who have carried the mission forward.

We will never forget. 🇺🇸
