Reaper Wrestling Club VA

Reaper Wrestling Club VA Est. 2023 | We are chartered USA wrestling club in Salem, VA. We will focus on leadership, work ethic, mental toughness, goal setting, and respect!

We aim to use the sport of wrestling to focus on and instill key life values and skills on and off the mat. We will work on technical skills through weekly training and seasonal tournaments. Our Program aims to provide our youth an opportunity to learn and develop physical, mental and technical skills.

Ain’t no party like a Reaper party!

First of all we want to thank National Pools of Roanoke, Inc. for allowing us to use this brand new facility. The new WRV Aquatics Center is amazing and we were extremely fortunate to have the opportunity to use it! National Pools has supported us heavily the last few years and they continue to provide these young wrestlers with amazing opportunities on and off the mat. Thank you!

It was awesome to see the get together today to celebrate success while enjoying each others company. The greatest thing we have done as a club is bring great people together. That means far more to us than the multiple state champs, state placers, and team banners that we have accumulated over the past few years. 😉

Thank you to Chad Conner, Austin Vaughan, John Hutchinson, and Cael Short for helping with coaching duties this year! We cannot achieve the accolades that we do without your help!

To the parents and families that support us… thanks for another weekend day! 😂 We love you, you’re awesome, we are nothing without your support and commitment! In a wrestling landscape that sees so many clubs dying from families being pushed out you continue to be inclusive and inviting, which is a big reason we continue to grow.

Today was a great day. Those that helped with Cael’s gift…. You are truly appreciated more than you will ever know. We are so grateful for the people that we continue to be blessed with. We thank you all!

Was a great weekend to be part of the Reaper Fam! For the second year in a row we finish our NHSCA tournament with an official pool record of 3-3.

We are thankful for such a great group of young wrestlers. They made this weekend fun and we enjoyed watching them fight the entire time. Their attitudes were great and they gave tremendous effort.

To the parents, this doesn’t happen without y’all. Thank you for allowing us to coach your kids and your commitment to giving your wrestlers first class experiences! You guys are awesome and we love that y’all are Reapers.

Thanks again to everyone involved with making our weekend so great. Just getting started!
