Congratulations to Ole Person who caught another one of the 10 tagged fish from the 2026 Detroit Fishing Derby!

We'll pay $50 on those through the end of Labor Day weekend. There are about 6 still swimming!

Celebrate Independence Day with the JFK Band!🎸

Keep the party going after the Detroit Patriotic Golf Cart Parade and Fireworks Over the Lake festivities with a special Party in the Park concert featuring the JFK Band!

Known for their high-energy performances and crowd favorites, the JFK Band will take the stage at Detroit City Park on July 4 before and after the fireworks show for an evening of music, dancing, and summer fun. Opening the show at 4:30 PM is DJ Mystic, followed by Gabriel Cox.
