Schirle Elementary PTC Volunteers are always needed. There are several opportunities throughout the school year for you to lend a hand.

The Schirle PTC consists of parent volunteers who are dedicated to assisting students, teachers and staff in their day to day activities with support through fundraising efforts. Please email the PTC at [email protected] if you are interested.

Community Safety Update

The Sunnyslope Neighborhood Association is meeting tomorrow evening, and one of the key topics is the effort to install a pedestrian flashing crosswalk beacon at Kuebler & Croisan Scenic Way. This is an important safety issue for our community—many Schirle students use this crossing daily, and the intersection remains hazardous, especially during the dark, rainy months. Distracted driving and speeding have led to numerous close calls over the years.

Your awareness and support can help make this much-needed improvement a reality.

Hi Schirle Volunteers!

We’re getting ready for our After Dark Party on Friday, November 14th for our 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders who raised $100 or more during the Jogathon! The party runs from 6:00–8:00 PM, and we still need a few more volunteers to help make the night safe and fun.

Happy Friday Sharks! Now that November is here the holidays are right around the corner. We have a wonderful Schirle Elementary School family who has put together a Holiday Wreath Fundraiser. They are donating a portion of the proceeds back to our students and teachers. Orders are due Next Friday November 14th. Pick up for orders will be November 24th and 25th. Thank you for your support and a huge thank you to the donating family.

We want to see your creativity! 5th grade art will be made into the cover page with one to four additional art pieces on the back cover.

All artwork is due November 10th and will be voted on that evening at the PTC meeting.
