We're hearing that people are worried that everyone who receives SNAP needs to reapply right now. At this time, nothing about the SNAP recertification process has changed in Oregon. You do not need to reapply unless we contact you directly.

• Most people already renew every 12 months and complete a 6-month periodic report.
• Older adults and people with disabilities with no earned income renew every 24 months and complete a 12-month periodic report.
• Some people may be asked to take part in routine quality-control reviews or need to report certain changes in income or work hours.

If you get SNAP, just keep following your normal certification and reporting schedule.

You can review your certification schedule by logging into your ONE Online Account or ONE Mobile App, calling the ONE Customer Service line at 800-699-9075 or contacting your local ODHS office.

If anything changes, we will post updates and notify you directly.

Yokwe, ilo 7 ran in November eo ekar bar jeblaaktok SNAP eo non aolep ro rej ber ilo program in benefit in, ne ewor kajjitok joij im call tok ilo awa in jerbal ko. Kommoltatat!!!

November SNAP benefits are here in Oregon! The federal government remains shut down, but ODHS was able to issue full November SNAP benefits with federal approval. We know how important these benefits are, so we worked quickly to begin issuing benefits last night. Everyone should have full November SNAP benefits on their EBT cards this morning, Nov. 7, 2025 - even if you normally receive SNAP later in the month.

Before shopping, check your EBT card balance to make sure their benefits have been issued. There are several ways to check your balance:

- Call ebtEDGE customer service toll-free at 888-997-4447
- Visit https://ebtEDGE.com
- Use the ebtEDGE mobile app

ODHS does not recommend any other EBT management websites or apps.

While the release of SNAP benefits is not a scam – we want everyone to remain aware of potential scammers who could be trying to take advantage of the confusion in this situation. Do not click any suspicious links in emails, texts or social media posts, and only trust ODHS for information about Oregon benefits. You can find tips to protect yourself from electronic theft here: https://www.oregon.gov/odhs/benefits/Pages/protect.aspx

We are so honored to have been invited to the National Marshallese Community Coalition’s 4th Annual Leadership Summit in Cleburne, Texas.

Two of our staff, TiHana Alik (Program Manager) & Carsia Alik (Office Manager), were able to attend on behalf of OMCA.

During the summit, they had the opportunity to network with inspiring community leaders from different Marshallese nonprofits from across the state.

Here’s what they have to say about their experience:

“Grateful to NMCC for the opportunity to connect with other NGOs and gain new insights. Excited to bring what I learned back home to better serve my community.”
- TiHana Alik

“I feel privileged to be a part of events like this. Events like this remind me that when people with shared goals come together, real impacts happen.”
-Carsia Alik

Overall, this experience was an understatement of how proud we are as an organization to be able to represent and participate in an impactful event for our Marshallese communities. It shows the importance of our role as leaders to strive for true value of our people.

Kommol Tata to the NMCC Team for the warm invitation and the hosting state for bringing together nonprofit professionals dedicated to sharing the same mission: serving and helping the Marshallese community.
