How stress-free is your ride? Using the new low-stress bike map we made in partnership with , we can see that a bike ride from downtown Salem to ranges from stress-free to stressful.

What do you think of the route? If you're not a confident cyclist, would you ride it? Which segments of the route need an upgrade first?

Have you ever biked on South River Road to Independence and wished it was safer? Weigh in on Marion County's design standards!

Marion County Public Works is working with Kittelson & Associates to bring the Marion County Engineering Standards up to date with national, state, and other local agencies' standards for roadway construction and associated public infrastructure.
