Please help support your local west Salem scout unit. We will be onsite at peace Lutheran church 1525 Glen creek rd nw. From 9-4 on Saturday January 4th to collect your Christmas trees and pop cans and bottles. $10 suggested donations are appreciated

West Salem - I am reaching out to you to let you know that Troop 7150 is moving toward starting a girl's troop to function alongside us.
They would operate alongside and yet independent of the boys troop, have separate sleeping arrangements at camp, and engage in any and all of the same activities.
We have a few girls that are about all ready to transition in but we need to fill in a few gaps.
If you have a daughter, 6th grade and up, that is interested in Scouting, just trying something new, making new friends... please comment or message us on Messenger.

Members of west Salem troop 7150 and Keizer troop 121. Learning all about truck transportation merit badge at Sysco foodservice at the main facility in Wilsonville Oregon. Scouts learned what it takes to be a truck driver and learned how everyday items we use all were transported by a semi truck. Even the food the eat at school and thier favorite restaurant. Troop 150 showed up at Restlawn the Thursday before Memorial Day to place American Flags at the gravesites for our fallen heros.

They returned on Memorial Day to take part in the ceremony to honor and mourn the U.S. Military Personell who gave the ultimate sacrifice while serving in the U.S. Armed Forces.

Thank you to the service men and women as well as their families for your service. We honor you.

What a fun day and how inspiring to see how the troop, both Youth and Adults turned out, pitched in, and made this event...

What a fun day and how inspiring to see how the troop, both Youth and Adults turned out, pitched in, and made this event happen.

They did an amazing job working as a team to put that Monkey Bridge up and it was strong enough for everyone to cross it that wanted to, Youth and Adults! We showed a representation of First Aid, a Campsite, and even had a Lego derby track for just pure fun.

Got some good leads on some potention new Scouts!

Hanging out of Orchard Heights Park in West Salem today until 2pm today. Looking to add members to our troop and other units in the area. I have been a scout most of my life. It’s a great program that promotes life skills and leadership skills you can’t find anywhere else. If you know of anyone with kids ages 10 to 14 looking for some thing to do this summer and learn some life skills come on down to sign up

Troop 150 is hosting a recruiting event for youth (boys and girls) from 5th through 12th grade.

When: June 1st
Time: 10am - 2pm
Where: Orchard Heights Park

We will be spreading the word and would greatly appreciate any help in getting the flyers shared on social media in any West Salem groups and communities that our friends might have access to.

On the weekend of "May the Fourth" the troop continued with plans to attend Camporee depsite the rain. They camped all weekend with other troops around the area, competing as they demonstrate the skills they learn in Scouts.

While not in activities, they get to enjoy other aspects of camp with each other; just having fun, cooking amazing camp food, warming by the fire, and more.
