🚨 CYOJ HitLab 12U Softball Head Coach Announcement 🥎🚨

We are proud to announce Coach Beau Craig as the Head Coach of our CYOJ HitLab 12U Softball team!

Born and raised in Salem, Beau is a North Salem High School graduate and former All-State third baseman. He continued his baseball career on scholarship at Chemeketa Community College and Linn-Benton Community College before transitioning into coaching.

Beau has coached JBO 14U teams and North Salem’s American Legion summer baseball program, and he continues to give back to the game through West Salem Little League, where he coaches his daughter, Lyla, in softball, and his son, Camden, in baseball.

Coach Beau is passionate about developing young athletes the right way—teaching strong fundamentals, building confidence, fostering teamwork, and creating a positive environment where players can grow both on and off the field.

We’re excited for the leadership, experience, and passion Coach Beau will bring as he leads our 12U softball program into its inaugural season.

The CYOJ HitLab family is everywhere! 🌺⚾

One of our HitLab players from Hawaii is living his best life. Before heading home, they made a stop at Dodger Stadium to catch a game.

Dad is rocking the Create Your Own Journey hat, and our player is proudly wearing his CYOJ HitLab hat. Seeing our families represent the Lab wherever they go means the world to us.

Safe travels back to Hawaii! Thank you for representing CYOJ HitLab and being part of the journey. Keep chasing your dreams—we’ll see you back in the Lab soon! 🧪💚

The Lab 🧪 was buzzing today.

One of our players made a pit stop all the way from Hawaii on his way to Arizona for a wood bat tournament. As just a freshman in high school, he’s already putting up 80+ mph exit velo and came in to get some work before competing.

The Mavericks were in the building getting after it, including their home run leader and starting catcher, putting in quality work before this weekend’s games.

And it doesn’t stop there. We had 9-year-olds in the cages putting in the same work and chasing the same goals.

That’s what The Lab 🧪 is all about. Whether you’re just starting out or getting ready for high-level competition, if you’re willing to put in the work, we’re here to help you get better.
