St. Francis Family Housing

St. Francis Family Housing St. SFS has provided temporary housing to homeless families with children in Marion and Polk Counties since 1987. SFS can house up to 11 families at a time.

Francis Family Housing provides safe family shelter, individualized case management, and life skill development for families with children experiencing homelessness in Marion and Polk Counties Each family lives in a furnished, self-contained, one- or two-bedroom apartment. Families staying at the shelter are responsible for purchasing their own food and clothing and must demonstrate that they are working towards securing permanent housing or completing classes while they are here.

It’s official! 🎉 The Kim Lemman Legacy Endowment was signed, sealed, and delivered to the Oregon Community Foundation yesterday afternoon! Kim's closest friends and family contributed an incredible $42,476 to kick off our first ever endowment. 🙌 This permanent fund will carry forward Kim’s legacy and help ensure our families always have a safe and comfortable place to call home. 🏡 Thank you for your continued support of St. Francis children and families! 🩵

At this year’s Saddle Up event, we made a very special announcement that we are now thrilled to share with all of you!

For 15 years, Kim Lemman poured her heart into St. Francis Family Housing. Under her leadership, we grew from an all-volunteer group into one of the largest nonprofits exclusively serving homeless families in Marion and Polk counties. To honor Kim’s devotion, we have established The Kim Lemman Legacy Endowment. This permanent fund will carry forward the mission closest to her heart: providing safe, stable housing for local families. We invite you to make a meaningful contribution to this endowment. Your gift will preserve Kim’s brilliant legacy and ensure our families always have a place to call home. 🩵

🌟At this year's Saddle Up, thanks to the generous hearts of St. Francis supporters, we successfully surpassed our fundraising goal allowing us to provide even more support for children and families! 🐴

Funds contributed at Saddle Up continue to allow St. Francis the ability to provide vital services such as housing navigation, financial literacy, parenting and child development support, employment coaching, academic success programs, and practical life skills. These resources help families build a brighter future and ensure success well beyond the walls of the St. Francis Campus. 🏡
