Join us Tuesday, October 6, at 7:00 p.m. for our monthly online training.

The VFW Department of Oregon Patriot’s Pen Chairman will present a training on ScholarsApp, the online platform used for both the Patriot’s Pen and Voice of Democracy scholarship programs.

Post and District officers, program chairmen, and anyone assisting with either scholarship program are encouraged to attend.

Never Forget

The VFW honors the nearly 3,000 lives lost on 9/11 and the generations who served and sacrificed in its aftermath, while calling on Americans to carry forward the unity and service that followed.

🇺🇸 **September 11 – Patriot Day**

On September 11, 2001, nearly 3,000 people lost their lives in terrorist attacks against our nation.

Today, we remember those who were killed at the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, and aboard Flight 93. We honor the firefighters, law enforcement officers, emergency personnel, military members, and ordinary Americans who responded with extraordinary courage.

We also remember that the events of September 11 changed the lives of an entire generation of American service members and their families. In the years that followed, millions answered the call to serve our nation.

The Veterans of Foreign Wars Department of Oregon joins Americans across the country in remembering those we lost and honoring all who answered the call.

**We will never forget.**
