Friends of Allegany State Park Friends of Allegany State Park Inc. is a registered 501(c)3 Not-For-Profit Corporation and is a NYS Chartered Friends Group with Allegany State Park.

The Friends of Allegany State Park is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to work with the state of New York to promote, preserve, and maintain Allegany State Park. The park has been enjoyed by people of all ages for almost 100 years. The Friends pursue this mission by serving as ambassadors and advocates for the park and the wider community. This is accomplished by recruiting friends and vo

lunteers and by developing corporate and community partners. The Friends strive to network with the talent, knowledge, and enthusiasm that is needed to keep the park relevant and vital. The Friends will strive to preserve, maintain, and interpret the historic character and natural beauty of the park. The Park Restaraunt is extending their hours for the summer season. Delicious fish fries and a shrimp special for dad on Father’s Day. Starting May 24th they bring back their famous breakfast buffet. Visit their FB page for updates!

The Friends of Allegany wish to thank Pvt. Leonard Post Jr VFW Post 6251 for their ongoing generosity in giving substantial contributions to the Friends over the past several years.
Commander Carl Carbone also presented the Friends with a very nice American flag which now hangs proudly in the Red House sawmill.
Thanks again Commander Carbone and to the Post for your generosity and support of or great cause!

Bob generously helped us on a graphics project recently for the Red House Sawmill.
