ith everyday problems the disease presents; and 3) To bring awareness and education to the overall public, including all public services and health industries about Huntington’s disease. We provide education by giving free lectures, interviews and appearances in schools, libraries, radio/TV shows, and other public venues, as well as utilizing social media channels and the corporation’s website to provide facts, clinical trials, statistics, and other related data on causes, current efforts and solutions to assist in the awareness, advancements and information in coping with everyday problems the disease presents. Research is the top priority of Huntington’s Disease Foundation as we continue to look at ways to put donation dollars to work in the most impactful way possible. Expediting Huntington’s disease research and drug development remains a top priority and the Foundation has every expectation that the most significant dollars will be spent in this area. We constantly are looking for ways to expedite research to find treatments and a cure for this disease. The Foundation actively seeks cooperative alliances involving research that has been identified as critical finding new treatments for Huntington’s disease. Huntington’s Disease Foundation is absolutely committed to transparency and communicates regularly with the HD community, our donors, the media and the public about the progress in funding projects and programs to support the cause. Our programs include sending out ambassadors to raise social consciousness about the cause on a local and global level, and to hold fundraising events in order to provide immediate relief and assistance to those suffering from this deadly disease regardless of their race, ethnicity, or religion.
