Uhh…wut? 😆

Archery opener, we took four wounded deer calls in one morning. Hunters are calling us. We want to hand those calls to you.
If you run a blood tracking dog in Texas, join the Backcountry Drones tracker network. It's free.

When a hunter loses a deer near you, we text you the request with the map pin, the shot details and the hunter's number. You call them, you run the track, and you set and collect your own fee. We don't take a cut.

Signing up takes two minutes. You'll tell us:
Where you're based and how far you'll drive
Your dogs, and whether you run on or off lead
When you're usually available
Know a handler who should be on this? Tag them below.

Operation Jane is underway.

Only real ones know when one of these bad ass setups roll into town! Shoutout to Eric at ProTexAG for coming through Salado on his way to go help a landowner out with some spraying work! Those XAG’s look good on there!

Wildlife surveys and missing livestock aren’t the only things that drones are helping landowners with. Ag spraying drones are just one of the many ways drones are helping landowners do more with less time and become more efficient in their daily land operations. Go give them a follow and see how they’re doing exactly that!

UPDATE 10 OCT: Despite all trapping efforts and glorious fresh grilled meat, she wanted nothing to do with any of the traps we put out there. Last time we saw her was 0437 hrs on 09 OCT. She visited the trap and then appears to have moved back down to the rest stop area just south of 2843. We flew over 4 hours looking for her tonight and she is nowhere to be seen from the air. We need the community to SHARE this post and the flyer to generate another lead for Jane. Risk factor is high given the fact she has a leash on still.

UPDATE 07 OCT: Trapping operation underway with good potential. Please avoid the area if you can-Jane is in extreme flight mode and will run at the first sign of human contact.

LOST DOG | SALADO, TX

Jane ran from the I-35 southbound rest area south of Salado on Sunday, Oct 4, around 3 PM, heading north along the fence line toward FM 2843. No sightings since.

30 lb female Brittany Spaniel. White with brown ears and spots. Grey collar, microchipped, likely dragging a black leash.

She is very shy. Do not chase her or call to her. Note the time and place, get a photo, and call or text (214) 704-8225.

We're flying thermal tonight. Please stay out of the fields and brush near the rest area so she stays put.

Got game cams, ranch cams or doorbell cams around FM 2843? Check them.
