Hi friends, TLB fans and ministry supporters!
I have an update and a prayer request. As many of you know we were scheduled this week to leave for a ministry journey to Texas, Louisiana, and maybe Alabama this October and November. However, just over two weeks ago I caught what ever illness that has been going around locally and it progressed into pneumonia. I have been trying hard to get rest, saturate the situation in prayer, and take care of myself with all kinds of supplements. However, after all this, and completing my course of antibiotics, I still appear to have a ways to go to complete recovery. ❤️‍🩹 Additionally, though it hasn’t been 100% confirmed, I apparently have Pharyngeal Mucosal/ Soft Tissue Injury in my throat. It is pretty painful and it is difficult to talk, let alone sing and teach the Word.
On account of these factors, we are making the decision to postpone this ministry journey until the spring, likely in the month of March.
Please pray for our family during this inconvenient time. It has been really hard for Allegra taking care of me and the family as I try to rest and recover. Also, please pray that I heal quickly, that this nasty cough subsides, and that my deep throat injury heals completely without any adverse complications or need for deeper intervention. I am desiring to be completely restored, so I can once again loudly proclaim the good news and sing praises to my Savior. 🙂
