It is with heavy hearts but profound gratitude for a life well-lived that the Valle Catholic Schools Foundation remembers Father Larry Huber, a proud member of the Valle Catholic High School Class of 1982.
Father Huber’s life was a beautiful testament to the mission of Valle Catholic: to live a life of service, faith, and tireless dedication to others. From the hallways of Valle Catholic to the many parishes and communities he served, Fr. Huber carried the Warrior spirit with him wherever he went.
Throughout his ministry, Father Huber was known for his compassionate heart and his unique ability to connect with people from all walks of life. His mission was simple yet powerful: to be the hands and feet of Christ. Whether he was offering guidance to those in need, celebrating the Sacraments, or simply sharing a kind word, his impact across the parishes he served was immeasurable. Not only did he preach the Gospel, he lived it every single day through his works of mercy and his unwavering commitment to his calling.
Father Huber’s family roots run deep within our Valle Catholic community. He leaves behind a large and loving family, including many siblings, nieces, and nephews who have walked the same halls as students or continue to be a part of the Valle Catholic Schools family today. We wrap our arms around Fr. Huber’s entire family in prayer, asking for peace and comfort during this difficult time.
As a community, we celebrate the legacy of a man who devoted his life to God and his neighbor. Father Huber, thank you for your service, your priesthood, and for being a bright light in our Valle Catholic and surrounding communities.
Rest in peace, Father Huber. Once a Warrior, always a Warrior.
“Well done, good and faithful servant.” — Matthew 25:23
