Brunswick Junior Woman's Club Brunswick Junior Woman's Club The group is made of women of varying backgrounds and ages working together to serve the community in which we live.

Founded in 1947 by 15 charter members, The Brunswick Junior Woman’s Club is a volunteer service based organization for the Glynn County, Georgia area. The club is apart of the 8th District of the Georgia Federation of Women’s Clubs for the state of Georgia. This district is one of the largest in the state in total membership and geographical area. The club is also a member of the General Federati

on of Women’s Clubs on the national level. Founded in 1890 the General Federation of Women’s Clubs is the largest volunteer organizations of women in the world. In adherence to the Federation of Women’s Club guidelines the club operates under a Board of Directors along with departmental committees categories of Home Life & Education, Conservation & Arts and International Issue & Public Affairs. The committees provide detailed attention to specific areas of need within the community. Recent club support has included such organizations as Safe Harbor Children's Shelter,The Salvation Army, STAR Student Program and Keep Golden Isles Beautiful. The Brunswick Woman's Club meetings are held on the 2nd Thursday of each month at Bonefish Grill on Saint Simons Island at 6:00 pm. We extend an open invitation to any interested women within our community throughout the year.
