No Kill Glynn County Glynn County animal advocates working together to embrace the No Kill philosophy. This must stop! Glynn County is located on the coast of Georgia, U.S.A.

This page has been created so that everyone who is interested in helping Glynn County become "No Kill" has a place to congregate, learn, share ideas & strategize. A no kill shelter is a shelter that saves all healthy, treatable & rehabilitatable animals. A rule of thumb is that, to be no kill, a shelter saves more than 90% of all animals received. Ideally, No Kill would mean all "adoptable" and "t

reatable" animals are saved and only "unadoptable" or "non-rehabilitatable" animals are euthanized, but 90% is the threshold. Between 2006-2012 at Glynn County Animal Services, 82.7% of the cats & 50.8% of the dogs were euthanized.

Hooray for ARLETH (L) & LYLA (R) who have a home together furever! Thanks to the Coburns, our two beauties will be so loved! It’s off to Shellman Bluff where dad is anxiously awaiting their arrival!

ARLETH & LYLA are owner surrenders. We were able to help with having their mama spayed so she can enjoy life with her family!

Tonight, we are giving a HUGE SHOUTOUT to the Sheffield family who reached out to help us with this boatload of feral kittens who ABSOLUTELY had to be relocated.

There is one kitten at the business where we have spent countless hours trying to trap using every resource we have. We have been able to TNVR two adult females who can remain on the property.

THANK YOU for your support when these kittens were featured on a $5 Friday. They have all been spayed/neutered, fully vaccinated, dewormed & treated for fleas thanks to YOU!

None of this is easy, and we are grateful to Glynn County Animal Services for their support. TOGETHER, we save lives!

FIL-A found himself at the Jesup Pound with no way out other than a rescue commitment. We have enjoyed this fun fellow so much and are happy to have been a part of his journey!

LUCY was found along with her kittens inside Goodyear Elementary this summer while they were renovating. Her kittens will be available for adoption very soon!
