Pray this storm stays small and is non destructive as it comes on shore in a few hours.

It’s supposed to be small and quick. But you should NEVER trust anything in the hot Gulf waters!

These “homegrown” storms come up quick and give little time to prepare. They also can intensify quickly.

Grateful for the magic white basket!

Today I got to watch a lady in Central America do the simple task of washing clothes.

But this was not at all what washing clothes is like at your house.

At my house it’s pretty simple… to me anyways.

I put my dirties in a white basket in the closet and they magically appear neatly folded back in the same closet.

How does it work? What’s the science? Is it even legal?

Not sure. But I am definitely grateful for that magic clothes washing/folding basket.

Today think of things you’re grateful for. And do not neglect to be thankful for the little things.

Even our smallest blessings would be massive to most of the world. Even our simplest chore can be an all day event to those around the world who have very little.

Today give thanks to the Lord for every blessing, large and small.

“give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.”

I was thinking this morning as I was watching the sun come up, about seasons of life. About how the seasons of life come and go in waves. Sometimes it’s a hard season of life where it seems like everything is crashing around you and you’re being pounded with worry, sickness, or heartache. At other times it’s like a gentle wave of peace, contentment, and growth. No matter what season you’re going through, the Lord is right there with you. Sometimes it’s hard to see him in the midst of the heavy waves, but he’s there. He’s holding out His hand. You just have to reach for it. -Christie 😊

DON’T FORGET!!!
It’s hurricane season still!

We have had a very slow hurricane season so far this year.

Please make sure you are ready though, because they can pop up quick!

Even without Hurricanes, you still need to be ready.

As we have seen already this year with fires, earthquakes, floods, etc. disasters can happen at anytime. So always be ready!

Speaking of being ready, Mtn2Sea Ministries is having a work day this Saturday in Brunswick to make sure we are 💯 ready to serve at all times.

We need to put together more supply cabinets, retrofit our supply trailer into a supply and bunkhouse trailer for volunteers, make sure generators are running good, etc.

7.4 magnitude in Columbia this morning. Please pray that the damage and injuries or low.

Brantley County Fire Update:

We are still actively helping in Brantley from the devastating April fire.

Even though it has long been out of the news, it’s still very much just as bad for folks that were affected. Maybe even worse since now they feel like no one even cares or remembers their struggle.

A couple weeks back we moved a family in one of our campers from the camp ground to their property.

Like them, there are so many that are still not in permanent homes.

So many had no insurance and all they had was the home they lost.

They still desperately need help!

We are selling this car hauler that we bought to use for disaster relief that is not going to fit what we needed it for.

If you know anyone that wants to buy it, we will use all the $ to help as many victims of the fire as we can.

Or… if you know someone with a nice mobile home that would like a nice trailer, we would be willing to also trade it to help the victims.

You can’t tell me that the Lord doesn’t have a sense of humor! Look at the funny little creatures he made! This armadillo was cracking me up as it was scurrying along to find something to eat in the marsh. I was reading these verses the other day in Genesis and it’s so amazing at how much the Lord loves us! After He formed Adam, He didn’t want him to be alone so he created the animals and eventually Eve. I love how He allowed Adam to give the animals all their names. He built a relationship with Adam, just as He wants to build a relationship with us. Just look around you at all of creation. It’s not here on accident, it was all created for us just as we were created for Him.
