This Is Just 10% Of My Testimony. I Am About My Father’s Business Incorporated
It Is About A 5Min Read... But So Worth It.
WHEN GOD GIVES YOU A VISION, OBEDIENCE IS EVERYTHING. 🙏🏾❤️
First and foremost, I want to give ALL honor, glory, and praise to my Heavenly Father and my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Because without Him, absolutely NONE of this would be possible.
Before I share this exciting news, I want to share a little of my testimony. Because I never want anyone to see what God is doing in my life without knowing WHO is responsible for it.
About eight years ago, God placed a vision on my heart to start a nonprofit organization.
But instead of being obedient, I leaned on my own understanding. I had my own plans, my own ideas, and my own vision of what I thought I was supposed to be doing.
I started my own T-shirt and clothing brand. And while I poured so much of myself into it, things became stressful, overwhelming, and fast-paced. Looking back, I understand that I was trying to build something according to MY plans instead of seeking God's will for my life.
Eventually, I began stepping away from my clothing brand and dedicating more of my time to strengthening my relationship with my Heavenly Father.
And let me tell you, that journey of surrender was not always easy. But it wasn't nearly as difficult as continuing to walk outside of His will.
JULY 3, 2022. A DAY I WILL NEVER FORGET. ❤️🙏🏾
On July 3, 2022, I made one of the most meaningful decisions of my life.
I WAS BAPTIZED.
That day will always hold a special place in my heart because it represented a public declaration of my faith in Jesus Christ and my commitment to walking with Him.
But one thing I came to understand is that baptism wasn't the finish line. It was part of a lifelong journey of surrender, spiritual growth, obedience, and allowing God to continue transforming me from the inside out.
I was still learning. Still growing. Still being corrected. And yes, still learning how to get out of my own way!
Because giving your life to Christ doesn't mean you suddenly become perfect. It means recognizing your need for Him every single day.
Through prayer, fasting, studying His Word, and learning to truly surrender, God began changing my heart, my priorities, and my understanding of what it means to serve Him.
One thing about me is that I've always had a soft and giving heart. I genuinely love helping people, not for recognition, applause, or anything in return, but simply because it's in my heart to give.
I have never been someone who needs the world to know what I've done for another person. I believe in what Jesus teaches us in Matthew 6:3 about not letting our left hand know what our right hand is doing.
Everything we do for others does not need an audience. Sometimes the greatest acts of love are the ones only God sees.
And I know that the heart I have today is because of the work God has done within me.
I had to stop trying to hold on to the things of this world while claiming to fully serve Him. I had to understand that I could not serve two masters.
I made a decision to surrender my life to the ONE true Master, my Heavenly Father, who loved us so much that He gave His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ.
And that is WHO I serve. ❤️
FAST FORWARD TO 2025.
After years of putting off what God had placed on my heart, I finally stopped running from the assignment.
I chose OBEDIENCE.
I chose FAITH.
And most importantly, I chose to TRUST GOD, even when I couldn't see the entire picture.
I began taking the necessary steps to establish my nonprofit organization. But before moving forward, I prayed and sought the guidance of the Holy Spirit concerning what the organization should be called.
And that is how the name I AM ABOUT MY FATHER'S BUSINESS came to be.
Inspired by Luke 2:49:
"Did you not know that I must be about My Father's business?"
The word "Incorporated" was added for the legal formation of the organization, but the heart behind the name has always been rooted in Scripture.
Then came another question.
Lord, how am I going to establish this name, protect the brand, and create a logo that represents what You have placed on my heart?
And wouldn't you know it...
GOD MADE A WAY! 🙌🏾
The organization was established, the logo came together, and we reached another milestone in protecting our name and identity through the trademark process.
Now, let me be clear. I was STILL nervous! 😂
I was learning how to establish a nonprofit, handling legal paperwork, organizing everything behind the scenes, and trying to understand responsibilities I had never taken on before.
There were moments when I thought, "Lord, I don't even know what I'm doing!"
But my prayer remained the same:
Father, I trust You. I know You can, and I know You will. Just continue to lead me.
Because one thing about the woman I am today is that I refuse to intentionally move ahead of God.
I don't want to build anything, pursue anything, or attach my name to anything without first seeking my Heavenly Father's direction.
THEN CAME JUNE 2026.
Just when I thought I had everything figured out, I felt the Holy Spirit leading me in a different direction.
The original mission I had established was no longer the mission I believed God was calling me to fulfill.
Instead, the vision became clear:
A CHRIST-CENTERED MENTORSHIP PROGRAM DEDICATED TO YOUNG GIRLS.
And my reaction?
LORD, SAY WHAT NOW?! 🤯😂
Because this was NOT what I originally had planned!
But here's something I want people to understand about me.
I am not someone who casually says, "God told me this" or "God told me that."
I take the name of my Heavenly Father seriously.
Through spending time in His Word, praying, fasting, and growing spiritually, I have been learning the importance of discernment, recognizing the difference between my own desires, the enemy's distractions, and what I believe the Holy Spirit is revealing to me.
I don't play about my Father's name. I have a genuine reverence and fear of the Lord.
So when I felt Him redirecting this mission, I knew I needed to approach it with prayer, humility, and obedience.
And once again, I said:
Okay, Father. If this is where You're leading me, then this is where I'll go.
I began restructuring the nonprofit, rewriting the mission, and building a mentorship program with Jesus Christ at the very CENTER of it all.
A place where young girls can grow in their faith, discover their God-given purpose, develop leadership skills, build meaningful sisterhoods, and receive the encouragement, guidance, and support they need.
Not simply another program, but a ministry-driven mission built on biblical principles, love, accountability, and service.
And today, I am still in awe of how everything has been coming together.
Because what started as a vision eight years ago has become something so much greater than what I could have imagined for myself.
AND NOW... DRUMROLL PLEASE! 🥁❤️
It brings me so much joy and gratitude to officially share some of the blessings and milestones surrounding:

Our Christ-centered Teen Girls Mentorship Program!
👏🏾 We are officially approved as a Step Up For Students Provider!
👏🏾 We have established a partnership with Walmart!
👏🏾 We are partnering with Good360!
👏🏾 We are partnering with Potter's Touch Knowledge Collective!
And this is only the beginning of what I believe God has in store for this mentorship.
Every connection, every opportunity, every resource, and every door that has opened reminds me why obedience matters.
I am incredibly grateful for every person and organization that has supported this vision and believed in the importance of investing in the lives of young girls.
But above every partnership, every approval, and every accomplishment, ALL GLORY BELONGS TO GOD.
I never want to become so focused on what is being built that I forget WHO made it possible.
This journey has taught me that surrendering to God's will doesn't mean you will have every answer. It means learning to trust Him even when you don't.
It means being willing to let go of YOUR plans when He is leading you toward something different.
It means remembering the prayer Jesus taught us:
"Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven." Matthew 6:10
I am not sharing this to boast about myself.
I am sharing this because somebody may be sitting on a vision God placed in their heart years ago, afraid to take that first step.
Somebody may be trying to figure everything out before moving forward.
And somebody may be holding on to their own plans while God is calling them in another direction.
My encouragement to you is simple:
Seek Him. Trust Him. Surrender to Him. And be obedient to His Word.
You don't have to know everything. You don't have to have all the resources. And you certainly don't have to have every detail figured out.
But you do need to be willing to follow where He leads.
Because with man, things may seem impossible.
BUT WITH GOD, ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE! Matthew 19:26. 🙏🏾
To my Heavenly Father, THANK YOU.
Thank You for Your patience with me when I was disobedient.
Thank You for Your mercy when I leaned on my own understanding.
Thank You for correcting me, redirecting me, and continuing to work on my heart.
Thank You for trusting me with an assignment that is bigger than myself.
And thank You for every young girl whose life we will have the opportunity to touch through this mentorship.
My prayer is that this organization will NEVER lose sight of its foundation, which is and will always be JESUS CHRIST.
This is not about building a name for myself. This is about being about MY FATHER'S BUSINESS. ❤️
