We are overwhelmed by the incredible outpouring of support for the inaugural St. Pete New Works Festival. From those signing up for updates to the many volunteers offering their time and services—this is truly what community looks like.

Something big is brewing in the "City of the Arts." 🎭✨

While national incubators for new plays are closing their doors, St. Pete is doubling down. We are thrilled to officially announce the St. Pete New Works Festival—a historic two-week "living laboratory" running from March 25 – April 4, 2027.

This isn't just a festival; it’s a defiant statement of community. Four of St. Pete’s leading arts non-profits are joining forces to ensure our city remains a sanctuary for creative evolution:

Expect world premieres, Florida premieres, staged readings, and professional networking across multiple venues. We are proving that St. Pete isn't just a destination for finished work—it’s where the next great American stories are born.
