GOC COLLECTIVE INC. Goes to Canada! 🇨🇦
We are proud to share that our Founder & Chief Visionary Officer, Desiree Robertson, has been selected to participate in the Mentor Canada Summer Institute on Youth Mentoring at the University of Calgary later this month.
The Summer Institute convenes a select group of researchers, practitioners, and mentoring leaders from across North America to explore emerging research, evidence-informed practice, and innovative approaches that strengthen mentoring relationships and improve outcomes for young people.
At GOC COLLECTIVE INC., we believe that learning is one of the most important investments we can make. As a national capacity-building nonprofit and training institute, we are committed to bringing the best research, ideas, and promising practices back to the organizations, educators, mentors, and community leaders who serve Black and Brown girls.
This opportunity reflects our ongoing commitment to building bridges between research and practice, strengthening the field of mentoring, and ensuring that the adults and systems surrounding girls have the knowledge and tools they need to create healing-centered, culturally responsive environments where girls can thrive.
