I’m so heartbroken to even have to post this…
I lost Princess Neuro Drip.. 😭 She passed peacefully curled up in her new bed from auntie Barb.. I knew her time was coming soon but it never makes it any easier.. She lived over 3 years which is amazing (they normally only live around 2 years)
Thank you all for loving her as much as you all did .. and as much as I did… She was a very special girl …😢

Uno is moved outside!
Recently Uno was attacked by a raccoon, which severely hurt her, she lost an eye and has a lot of trauma to the top of her head and skull area. I recently moved her outside to the side of the house that is all fenced in so she can start getting exercise and hopefully start preening in the water. I’m so excited to see her walking just fine now.. eating lots and interested in foraging.. slowly but surely she is recovering!! ❤️‍🩹 🦆❤️

I am CLOSED for alll intakes … if you are local to the St. Pete area you can text and reach out to Birds in Helping Hands or any other areas or states can check the website www.ahnow.org Animal Help Now and search your area …. If you see the Rescue getting tagged online, please let them know that I am closed. I don’t want anyone thinking I’m ignoring them …but working full-time and now opening this truck there’s just no way I can take anymore in …. ❤️

Blind Mama Eve!!
Sorry for the yet again lack of updates. My Food Truck is finally open and I’m literally working on it open to close seven days a week lol …so I will post when I can …in between cooking food lol
Mama Eve hasn’t been eating much lately .. and I can actually tell she’s losing weight. Even in this video she’s not eating the walnuts which is unheard of😳 lol she wants to just bury everything …so I will keep an eye on her …and I’ll make sure I get some Avocado as soon as possible because that’s the true test lol

Look at Uno!!! Brought her outside to see if she would take a little bath and preen some… she got her head wet a little and did a little preening … but no swimming… she got to see her family… shes a little wobbly and for sure has a hurt leg too … but overall she is doing great … she got a little exercise… and some sun … She isn’t going to be able to be with her fam for some time since she still has some pretty bad injuries… but I’m glad she got to see them .. I’ll try and bring her out more often.. she has lost so much weight 😢but is eating all her food and drinking a lot … she is such a fighter!!! I also can’t keep her outside too long cause of risk of flys and gnats getting in her wounds … so it’s baby steps … ❤️🦆But so far so good …

Sorry about the lack of updates on Uno! She has not been the best patient while healing from her raccoon attack .. she is fighting me tooth and nail … not wanting to eat or take her meds!
BUT! She is now eating and drinking on her own!! She is getting special slurry of nutrient filled food along with baby duck food since it’s itty bitty pieces and has higher nutrient content too .. along with fresh veggies… and she is back to her attitudy self trying to bite me every chance she gets which means she is feeling better 🙄😳😊
I’m going to try moving her outside soon with a small litter pan of water so she can try and preen.. which is very important for ducks!

Keep sending good vibes.. she still has a lot of healing to do… but this is a great sign! 🦆❤️

**Also! thanks to all of your wonderful monetary donations. Her entire $500 vet bill was covered. ❤️ thank you all so much and when it rains it pours I have two more animals that need to go to the vet as soon as possible. I’ll update more when I can .. 😳😭😢

With everything going on with the raccoon attack, I didn’t want to share even more sad news… but recently we lost handsome Paraplegic Poss-Sam 😢 Not sure what happened ..he didn’t show any signs of trauma … he hadn’t eaten dinner the night before he passed, but a lot of the kids are not eating as much while it’s so hot 🥵 I’m glad he lived a happy safe life here while he did….
