The new fee we must pay the church for the use of the picnic area each Saturday, we now know is $25 per week. In our quest to raise funds for these fees, we have 2 monthly donors pledging $25 per month, we just need two more and we will be secure.

Sad to say our little picnic area at Mirror Lake is in jeopardy. Beginning July the church will be adding a fee for use of the area. While we don't yet know the dollar amount, it will be difficult for us regardless. We will be reaching out looking for several monthly sponsors to possibly share the cost and will keep you posted, but know that we will set up and serve wherever we can in the future.

Dear Valued Donors,
Every day our dear friends close their eyes hungry, worried and often frightened. Many facing crisis in one form or another, whether it be job loss, family tragedy, mental health issues etc. For these folks what we do, serving a hot meal, handing out clean clothing, toiletries and first aid supplies, gives them a little sense of dignity and comfort. It shows them that somebody cares.
This past year, thanks to our wonderful Dinner and Duds family of supporters, we have served thousands of meals to those in need. However, the need continues to grow and our funds are slowly depleting and we cannot meet the challenge alone. I don’t need to tell you that the price of food has skyrocketed.
Today we ask for your support once again.
A gift of $25, $50, $100, or any amount that feels right for you will directly help those who need it most. What we could really use are continuing donations--$25 or $50 a month. As you know we are a 501c3 so your contribution is 100% tax deductible. Every dollar makes a difference as every meal etc shows compassion and a reminder that they are not alone in the fight to survive.
