We know we may not be able to change the situa
tion that people are in, but if even for a moment, if we can bring some hope, love, warmth, or kindness, then we are showing them the love of Christ. People want to know that they matter, that they are worth something, that they are loved. Each year we go out onto the streets and hand out backpacks full of essentials to the homeless, with our big missions trip to Boston on Thanksgiving (We are based out of Maine, but we also help in the New England areas). We are not a drop and run kind of ministry - we approach those in need with the intent to be engaged. We listen, look into their eyes, laugh and cry with them. There is no judgement for the ci******es that they may be smoking or the beer in their hand. We are there to show them what genuine love is. We are a 100% donation based ministry - we are always looking for monetary or material donations to help. (Please see the list below for items we are accepting)
