Last Saturday, March 7th, our community came together for another WaterGoat cleanup in St. Petersburg! 💙🌊

Volunteers helped remove debris from the water while our Roots & Shoots / Artivism crew transformed recycled materials into colorful works of art. It was the perfect mix of environmental action and creative expression—showing how caring for our waterways can also inspire creativity.

Every bag of trash removed makes a difference for wildlife, our community, and the health of St. Pete. And every brushstroke reminds us that protecting the ocean can be both meaningful and fun.

Want to be part of the next one?
We host monthly WaterGoat cleanups and would love to have you join us!

🌊💙 Big news for St. Petersburg!

On September 25, the City Council voted unanimously to honor the agreement to sell the Science Center property for $1.6 million to the St. Pete Foundation.

We at Water Warrior Alliance are deeply grateful to all eight council members for their thoughtful questions, careful research, and united leadership. 🙌 Their unanimous support shows a commitment to honoring promises and investing in a future where education, innovation, and community can thrive.

This is a milestone moment — and proof that when residents, organizations, and city leadership work together, real progress is possible.

Thank you, St. Petersburg City Council, for leading with integrity and vision. 🌟

🚨 TODAY at 3 PM: St. Pete City Council will vote on the Science Center project.

The City has agreed to the project, and the new feasibility study shows the brush site could be relocated elsewhere — so there’s no reason to hesitate.

📢 Show up, call, or email Council today to encourage moving forward with this hub for STEM, resiliency, and our next generation!
