🚒🍪 Spreading Sweetness to Our Local Heroes 🍪🚒

Johanna, founder of Growing Smiles, had the honor of donating Girl Scout cookies to the firefighters at St. Petersburg Fire Rescue Station 6.

When Johanna was younger, this fire station became one of her favorite places to visit. She still remembers the koi pond, the tour of the station, and the kindness the firefighters showed her. That experience stayed with her.

Now, through Growing Smiles, Johanna sometimes receives cookie donations from people who want the cookies to go to someone special. She chooses to pass that kindness forward by donating them to firefighters who work every day to protect our community.

This is the second year Johanna has donated cookies to Station 6, and she hopes the treats make their day a little sweeter.

🎄🎁 Another special delivery today! 🎁🎄
Growing Smiles just dropped off donations to Alpha House, and we’re so grateful to be able to support families this holiday season ❤️

We delivered holiday gifts 🎁, books 📚, three AMC gift cards 🎬, and a Christmas tree 🎄 to help bring comfort, joy, and a little holiday magic to the families they serve.

None of this would have been possible without the generosity of Target, Bess the Book Bus, Lucky Rose, and other amazing donors, including Regan, who helped make this delivery possible 🙌✨

Growing Smiles is thankful to help bring smiles to kids’ faces and warmth to families during the holidays 💚

🎄🎁 Big smiles today at CASA! 🎁🎄

Growing Smiles just dropped off presents for the kids, and our hearts are full ❤️

This delivery included 145 books 📚 and 55 gifts 🎁 for the children. None of this would have been possible without the incredible generosity of Target, Bess the Book Bus, and other amazing donors who stepped up to make this happen 🙌✨

Because of you, so many kids will experience joy, excitement, and a little holiday magic this season 🎄😊

Growing Smiles sent some heartfelt letters to Target stores asking them to donate to help us make Christmas special for kids in homeless shelters in Saint Petersburg, Florida. One store sent us a gift card that allowed Johanna to shop for items for the kids, and a second store donated extremely generously with gifts for the kids as well as a Christmas tree! Thank you so much, Target!!!
