Yesterday, FPR had around 40 participants in St Pete's National Pro-Life Bridges Day (Overpass Day). It was hot - but - it was awesome!
National Pro-Life Bridges Day is an annual campaign where teams of pro-life volunteers stand on highway overpasses to display banners with the message “Abortion Takes a Human Life”, reaching thousands of commuters across the United States. There were over 50 cities with Overpass Days yesterday.
The purpose of this event is to share the pro-life message directly to drivers and passengers and the banners are designed to be visible from a distance.

It was a great day! Plan to join us next July.

God is opening eyes and changing hearts this week.

A baby was SAVED in St Petersburg this morning.🥰

A young couple entered the facility but left almost immediately and took our information. The dad thanked one of our sidewalk team (many of you know the 84-yr old, Mr. Williams) and gave him $10.
(I guess it's a tip for the decades he's been there standing up for life.😎)

What a great day on Central Ave!

Please pray for this sweet couple and their precious baby.❤️

Please pray for a situation at the abortion facility in Clearwater RIGHT NOW. PLEASE PRAY!!
There is a man (C) who is on the fence about abortion.

-Pray for the Lord to give Scott and others there the words to have him choose life!
-Pray for opened eyes as to the realities of what he is about to allow this mom to do.
-Pray the man and the mom know there are hundreds of people (available close by) who can help them with whatever they need to walk away from this place today.
- Pray the life of this child is saved.

was honored to host a "Church at the Clinic" event last Tuesday in Clearwater at the Bread and Roses abortion facility.

Please pray for this facility to close down in Jesus' name!

Hi, friends.
Rebecca here.

I mentioned last week the ongoing battles in St Pete on Central Avenue (blocking with signs, yelling and taunting, shoving, stealing , etc...).
This has been the case for years but the environment is growing increasingly hostile.

We are working with city officials and legal teams who handle the specifics of code enforcement, public spaces, freedoms/rights/protections...
- but -
as you can imagine,
there is a lot of red tape and the 'wheels of justice ' take a while to get going.

There have been some improvements, praise the Lord (incrementalism working 👍)!!
but there is still a lot to be done.

-Please pray for continued progress with authorities who can (by enforcing existing laws and statutes) make it easier to stand for life.

-Please pray for those there offering help, hope, the Good News of the Gospel to abortion vulnerable moms. Pray they continue to persevere (no matter the circumstances) and patiently wait on the Lord's timing.

-Please pray for moms and dads who believe the lie that ending a life is their only option.
Pray lives are saved.

-Please pray for Scott J. Mahurin as he navigates next steps for not only the work to be done at this abortion facility but as he (and others) shed the Light of Truth on dark places like this all over our state.

Hi, everyone.
This is Rebecca.
As you know, there have been many victories in the courts that help abortion vulnerable moms choose life for their child instead.

Not only are babies more widely recognized as babies in the womb (praise the Lord)-
access to offer real help and hope to moms (on site) before they make an irreversible decision is easier near a lot of facilities than it has been in the past (freedom of speech).

But-
it has been a BATTLE for years at All Women's in
St Pete! YEARS!! From nasty counter protestors, and vile music and bullhorns, to vandalism and theft, and minor assaults - the hate is real.

The most recent tactic is for the pro choice crew to fill all the public spaces with huge signs staked in the ground (illegal).

Please pray for those faithfully showing up to speak up for life! Please pray for resolutions to come sooner than later. Please pray for favor with the local authorities. Please pray lives are saved.
