Sunken Gardens Forever Foundation, 501(c)(3) is a direct result of the success of the Flamingos Forever Fund project which raised over $50,000 to "Restock the Flock" of flamingos at the Gardens, and the need for funding for special projects. Revenue will help fund the new Children's Educational Garden, complete with laying hens, a small vegetable garden, a potting area and c

omposting exhibit, as well as a turtle sculpture to climb on and a "hobbit entrance". Families visiting the gardens will have a special place to take their children to learn about the natural world and the preservation of a very special place in St. Petersburg's history.
