We were honored to welcome members of the Jabil staff who arrived with a large collection of supplies to help support the animals in our care. Donations like these go a long way in ensuring our dogs and cats have the food, treats, enrichment, and daily necessities they need while they wait for their forever homes.

🐾❤️ Scarlett has found her forever home! ❤️🐾

If you've followed our events over the past few months, there's a good chance you've met Scarlett. This beautiful girl has been one of Pet Pal's biggest ambassadors, attending event after event with her sweet personality, friendly nature, and endless ability to win people over. 💕

From Yappy Hours to community events, Scarlett represented rescue with grace, soaking up attention, making new friends, and showing everyone what an incredible dog she truly is.

Today, all of that paid off.

We are so excited to share that Scarlett has officially found her forever family! 🥹🏡

After spending so much time being the star of our events, it's only fitting that Scarlett's story gets the happy ending she deserves. No more waiting. No more introductions. Just a family of her own, a home filled with love, and a future full of adventures.

Congratulations to Scarlett and her wonderful new family! Thank you for choosing adoption and for seeing exactly what we've known all along—that this sweet girl was something special. 💙🐾

Beaker is a 19-year-old Blue & Gold Macaw with a big personality and an even bigger heart! This handsome boy has a slightly bent beak that makes him uniquely charming, but it doesn't slow him down at all. Beaker is intelligent, curious, and loves being part of the action. Like many macaws, he thrives on interaction and enrichment and will do best with a family that understands the commitment and joy of sharing life with a parrot. If you're looking for a colorful companion with plenty of character, Beaker may be the perfect addition to your home. 🦜💙

Beaker had a DNA test done to confirm that he’s a male bird.

Another great community event is in the books, and we're grateful to DTSPfun for creating opportunities that bring local businesses, pet lovers, and neighbors together. 🐾❤️

Paws & Pours at Dog Bar St. Pete on Sunday was filled with wagging tails, great conversations, and some fantastic raffle prizes!

We were excited to bring along two of our adoptable pups: 🐾 Scarlett, our 1.5-year-old cattle dog mix who continues to be an absolute event superstar and ambassador for Pet Pal. 🐾 Garrett, a 3-month-old all-American black puppy, who made his very first outing and had the time of his life meeting new friends and soaking up all the attention!

A special shoutout to the event vendors: ☀️ Sun Cruiser – serving up refreshing beverages 💪 Last Rep – The Athletic Recovery Cocktail 🛁 Splash and Dash – bathing & grooming services ✨ LaLa Links – beautiful permanent jewelry

What a fantastic evening at Brews, Bands & Buds hosted by Get Cherried at Ferg's on Saturday night! 🎶🍻🌿

The talented Dillon Long Band kept the energy high, and between the great music, brew samples, amazing crowd, vendors, and all the excitement happening around us, I have to admit I'm a little embarrassed that I didn't take a single photo of the new flavor releases! 😆

One of my favorite parts of the night was all the Pet Pal alumni families who stopped by our table just to tell us how much they love their adopted pets. Those conversations never get old and are a wonderful reminder of why we do what we do. Moments like that make my job incredibly fulfilling. ❤️🐾

A huge thank you to Taylor, one of our amazing volunteers, for standing by my side and representing Pet Pal Animal Shelter throughout the event. I had such a nice time with you and truly appreciate all your help!

We were also treated to a delicious surprise when our friend Alex from Graze Craze stopped by with a beautiful charcuterie box, and it was great seeing Ari Gorfain, one of our incredible Puppy Love sponsors, who stopped by to say hello.

🐾 A huge thank you to the wonderful team from Morgan Stanley for spending the day volunteering at Pet Pal Animal Shelter!

Their group rolled up their sleeves, spent time with our shelter pets, and helped support our mission of finding loving homes for animals in need. Days like these remind us how fortunate we are to have a community that cares so deeply about rescue.

The visit was such a success that it even led to a happy ending for one of our dogs. While we recently shared Seamus's adoption story, we have to mention that the volunteer experience made such an impression that the Morgan Stanley team leader and his family decided to welcome him into their home. ❤️

We're grateful for every volunteer who walks through our doors, and we're especially thankful to the Morgan Stanley team for their time, compassion, and support.

🍦☀️ Headed out to Shell Key this weekend? Keep an eye out for the one and only Chillie Willie's Ice Cream Boat! 🚤🐾

Not only can you cool off with a delicious frozen treat while enjoying a day on the water, but you can also help local homeless pets at the same time. ❤️ A portion of every Pup Cup sold benefits Pet Pal Animal Shelter, and donations are always welcome!

So if you're anchored up, floating, boating, or beaching it at Shell Key, be sure to wave down Chillie Willie's and treat yourself (and your pup!) to something sweet. 🐶🍨
