We’re pleased to announce CardioStart’s eighth mission to the Jakaya Kikwete Cardiac Institute (JKCI) in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania—October 9–17, 2026. 🫀

This Adult Cardiac Surgery Mission will emphasize aortic surgery while supporting the continued development of JKCI’s comprehensive adult cardiac surgery program. Working side by side with local teams, CardioStart will help strengthen essential surgical-care systems, support complex case management, share expertise through teaching, and help advance the benchmarks needed for JKCI to remain a leading regional tertiary referral center.

Together, we are investing in sustainable skills, stronger systems, and greater access to advanced heart care across the region.
