Join SPYP on Saturday, August 29th, for a morning of service at Clothes To Kids! Volunteers will help sort donations, organize clothing, and assist with store organization.

Clothes To Kids provides new and quality used clothing, free of charge, to low-income and in-crisis school-age children throughout our community. By volunteering, you'll play a direct role in helping local students start the school year feeling confident, prepared, and supported. Whether you're looking to make an impact, meet fellow young professionals, or simply give back to the St. Pete community, we'd love to have you join us!

Hey SPYP! Our Lifesavers & Laughs Donor Registry event (previously scheduled for tomorrow, July 21st) is going to be rescheduled for a later date. We (SPYP, The Jackson Copeland Foundation, and Green Light Cinema & Lounge) look forward to announcing the new date for this unique opportunity to get swabbed for the DKMS Blood Stem Cell Registry, support local businesses, and have a laugh ❤️

The Rays are back in the Trop and so is SPYP! ⚾️ Join fellow Young Professionals at Tropicana Field for a night with the Rays on July 24th when they take on the Cleveland Guardians! Join SPYP for our next Community Spotlight featuring St. Petersburg City Council Chair Lisset Hanewicz!

Chair Hanewicz will discuss her path to public service, and lead a conversation on some of the biggest issues facing our City, including funding for essential public services, the City's St. Pete Agile Resilience (SPAR) plan to expedite water, sewer, and stormwater projects, the current status of the Gas Plant Redevelopment process, and what to expect as we head into hurricane season.

Born in Tampa and raised in Miami, Chair Hanewicz is an attorney and former Assistant State Attorney in Pinellas County, as well as a former Assistant United States Attorney for the Middle District of Florida. Before serving District 4 on City Council, she was President of the Crescent Lake Neighborhood Association, where she has lived since 2006. Today, she serves as Chair of City Council, Chair of the Public Services and Infrastructure Committee, and Chair of the Tampa Bay Water Board of Directors, while also holding vice-chair roles on several key legislative and budget committees.
