🚨UPDATE & WIN!

Today, the Florida Public Service Commission (PSC) voted 4-1 to amend a rule that would have resulted in higher electricity bills for millions of Florida ratepayers.

The decision comes after Food & Water Watch, the Hillsborough Affordable Energy Coalition, Power Floridians Can Afford Coalition, and other allied organizations sent a letter to the PSC yesterday urging them to reject the proposed amendment.

This is why we need affordable energy reform to hold our utility regulators accountable and ensure Floridians aren't padding the profits for investor-owned utilites.

Almost five years ago, Tampa City Council passed a resolution committing to 100% renewable energy by 2035, but the Council has failed to act on supporting solutions to help with the high cost of electricty.
