♥️🐩🐾 LOVE AT LAST!
Jay Jay was not in the best condition when he came to Florida Poodle Rescue. Leslie, a wonderful volunteer, picked him up and also fostered him.
He was a bit nervous at first and had separation anxiety--he would cry if he didn't have Leslie in sight.

He had skin allergies due to a flea infestation, an ear infection and his teeth were in terrible condition. Due to his advanced age and being a little frail we took him to a specialist in pet dentistry where most of his teeth had to be removed.

Little by little and with the help of foster mom's two poodles, Jay Jay started feeling more comfortable and secure. He was also very sweet.

Arlene and Gene are no strangers to Florida Poodle Rescue. The senior poodle they adopted in 2018 passed away and they were looking to adopt another senior poodle.

Once Jay Jay healed from his dental extractions and his skin and ear infections healed, it was time to meet Arlene and Gene.
Jay Jay immediately took to both of them and enjoyed being held. He sat in Arlene's lap for a while and then he walked over to Gene for some more attention.

When it was time to leave, Jay Jay walked on a leash to his new mom and dad's car and never looked back. Foster mom Leslie is sure that he will be loved and spoiled by this wonderful couple.

Thanks to Eileen for checking references and especially to Leslie for loving Jay Jay and taking such good care of him.

♥️🐩🐾HAPPY ADOPTION DAY!
It is such a pleasure to announce that Kash, the daddy of our four Arizona rescue puppies, has been adopted into a loving and forever home. He has been renamed Atesh. He is just the sweetest boy who loves to cuddle, play, and enjoys his treats!

His new mom and dad, Sady and Alexander, fell in love when they saw his picture. Atesh will have a sweet 12yo Westie sister named Dutchess, and two feline sisters, Emma and Luna. He will be going to work every day with his parents. What a fantastic new life Atesh will have now.

Thank you to the Intake and Transport volunteers, Chase for doing the reference checks, home visits, and to Barbara and Jesse for being such wonderful fosters.

❤️🐩🐾 LOVE FINDS DOLLY!
Dolly, renamed Maisie, is a chocolate female standard. She came to us as a stray from a shelter.

Maisie is a very sweet girl and loves people and cuddling. She met her new Poodle brother Ollie and they hit it off right away. Mom and Dad, Karlee and Trevor, are so excited to add a girl to their pack.

Thank you to the Shelters that look out for these sweet pups and notify us they need homes, our transport volunteers, Chase for reference checking, and Denise for being such a wonderful and knowledgeable foster!

❤️🐩🐾 CONGRATULATIONS!!!
Cole has found his forever home. New mom Diane says it was love at first sight. He is the best dog ever!

Cole was a grooming model, and then a medical support dog until his person lost mobility and couldn't take care of him any longer.

Cole is sweet, good with people and other dogs. He really loves his new mom.

Thank you to our Intake and Transport teams, our Reference checkers, and Home Visit Volunteers. The time you all give is a life saving gift.

♥️🐩🐾 LOVE AT LAST!
It took a while to find Ginger the perfect home. She needed an experienced rescue dog adopter, someone who worked from home and a fenced yard.

Rena has always adopted her dogs and was ready to adopt again after the loss of her last pet who lived to 14yrs old.

It was bittersweet for Mary and Tony, her foster parents, to let her go but they knew that Rena was the perfect home for Ginger.

Mary, Tony and in particular their beautiful standard poodle named Obi patiently worked with Ginger and showed her that it was ok to trust. She had been purchased as a puppy and used as a breeder for a couple of years and then sold on Craig's list. Unfortunately, the person who adopted her didn't feel that she was fit enough to take care of her.

Ginger has been with her new mom for a few days and is adjusting to her new home well. She loves her new beautiful backyard and going on walks with her mom.

We hear Ginger is definitely a lap dog every chance she gets!

Congratulations!!! 🎉 🎉 🎉

Thanks to Becky for checking references, to Mary for picking up Ginger and for taking such good care of her.

♥️🐩🐾 HOME AT LAST!!!
Sweet little "Billie" came to Florida Poodle Rescue as her owners were moving out of the country and couldn't take her.

She was fortunate to be fostered by Natasha and her husband Bob, who showered her with love and understanding. Although sweet and cuddly, she was also a bit apprehensive--especially when taken out for walks. They worked diligently to make her more comfortable.

Applicants Brian and Pamela had lost their beloved dog Sparkles to old age and were looking for a fur baby to join the family. When they met Billie, it was love at first sight.

We are sure her new parents will continue Billie's training and socialization. Their wonderful neighbors are thrilled that Billie has been adopted and that she will have a great life in their community.

Congratulations to the new family!
🎉 🎉 🎉

Thanks to Becky for checking references and to Natasha and Bob for taking such good care of precious little Billie!
