Get to know Kaley for ! 👋 🌞

✨ Kaley was born in Orlando, FL.

👨‍🎓 Kaley graduated from the University of South Florida in May 2026 and earned her bachelor's in general studies with a concentration in information architecture.

💫 A fun fact about Kaley is that she loves creating 2D and 3D art!

😀 What Kaley is most excited about is being able to participate in a hands-on role in keeping our community free from clutter and pollution. She is also getting to know more people in her community who share environmental interests.

✨ New Blog: Treasure Island Recovery & Resilience! ✨

Following the devastating 2024 hurricane season, Hurricanes Helene and Milton left Treasure Island among one of the hardest-hit areas in Pinellas County.

To restore the Treasure Island coastline, Keep Pinellas Beautiful (KPB), Treasure Island Adopt-A-Beach, and the City of Treasure Island partnered to restore damaged shorelines. Backed by a Volunteer Florida Disaster Relief grant, KPB quickly mobilized a vital recovery plan to protect our natural resources and strengthen future coastal resilience. 🌱🌊🌴

🗓️ SAVE THE DATE! For the International Coastal Cleanup with KPB this fall! 🌊🗑️

We’ve partnered with the Ocean Conservancy to host the 2026 International Coastal Cleanup (ICC) across Pinellas County from September 1st to October 31st! 🌴☀️

🌍 Be a Citizen Scientist: Join volunteers worldwide to collect, count, and document coastal trash. The Ocean Conservancy uses this vital data to track marine debris and release an annual impact report! 📊🔬

Join Keep Pinellas Beautiful at Moccasin Lake Nature Park on Tuesday, September 1st from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM for an engaging presentation on healthy ecosystems! 💧

Discover how watersheds work, how pollution impacts our communities, and simple ways you can make a real difference. 🌍

The event is completely free, with on-site parking available at 2750 Park Trail Ln in Clearwater.

🌿 Look what we accomplished together! 🌍

From March 1st to June 30th, the Great American Cleanup with Keep Pinellas Beautiful brought our community together in a massive way. Look at the incredible difference we made for our local environment:

📚 281 educational presentations reaching 11,577 individuals.

🤝 KPB engaged with 7,409 amazing volunteers & coordinated 458 community projects.

🗑️ 48,902 lbs of litter were collected.

♻️ 2,291 lbs of recyclables were recovered.

🌱 17,249 lbs of invasive plants were removed.

🌳 Planted 22,171 native trees and plants & 26 gardens.

⏱️ 18,845 volunteer hours were donated, saving taxpayers $655,622.88 in county labor costs!

A massive THANK YOU to all of our incredible volunteers, community members, and sponsors (Pinellas County, City of St. Petersburg, City of Largo, City of Clearwater, Surfing's Evolution & Preservation Foundation, FDOT, Ron Jon Surf Shop, Waste Pro, KnowBe4, and Molex) for helping keep Pinellas bright and beautiful! 💙✨
