Hey guys, troop historian Dominic here, talking about our recent summer camp. We went to Camp Daniel Boone in Canton, NC, for a week in early June. We all had fun. We met many other scouts from many different places and groups. Some of our cooking merit badge scouts made the jambalaya this year, and it was better than the other years. Some of the scouts, including myself, made a fort out of an old bridge at a creek near our camp. At the meetings leading up to camp, we made our own tie-dye and bleached shirts for the camp’s daily themes. Overall, we all had a good time and enjoyed the early June week rather than the Fourth of July week we normally do. The pictures here are from the troop making clotheslines to use in the campsite, and for the other scouts we shared the campsite with to use.
