Introducing St. Pete. webinar - understanding the new water use restrictions💦
Over the last few months, city staff have handled several questions from residents regarding the once-a-week watering and other water use restrictions. To assist with educational efforts, the St. Petersburg water conservation team has created and scheduled several viewings of a short Zoom webinar to explain the rules.
We wish to help prevent violations. The rules state that we can no longer issue warnings. All violations observed by enforcement personnel receive a formal court Municipal Ordinance Violation (MOV) citation, which is subject to a $193 fine, plus court costs.
Below is a list of short lunch time webinars, with links to register. I have attached a flyer listing all scheduled water conservation and environmental webinars.
I encourage you to share this information with your neighbors. Thank you.
