Congratulations to Erica Hall on this important and vital initiative!
We are thrilled to announce that Erica “Erahyah” Hall, Executive Director and Board Chair of the Florida Food Policy Council, has been accepted into the prestigious Watson Institute 2026–2027 Sustainability Fellowship.
Through this fellowship, Erica will advance the Florida Community-Owned Food Systems & Policy Infrastructure Initiative, a statewide model connecting food security, climate resilience, community ownership, Food Is Medicine, Right to Food policy, community-based participatory research (CBPR) and neighborhood preparedness.
FLFPC serves as the engine for this growing ecosystem, connecting St Pete Advocacy and Resiliency Coalition (SPARC), university partners, community organizations, farmers, growers, health leaders, and residents across Florida.
This fellowship will help strengthen Erica’s venture model, pitch, impact strategy, and funding roadmap as she works to scale community-owned food and resilience infrastructure across the state.
Please join us in congratulating Erica on this powerful next step.
