The Greater Woodlawn Neighborhood Association (GWNA) in St Petersburg, FL was restarted and incorporated in 2016. The Greater Woodlawn Neighborhood Association, located in northeast St Petersburg, Florida, is a Non-Profit Neighborhood Association, hosting social events and monthly meetings throughout the year. Everyone who lives in the neighborhood are welcome and encouraged to attend the events.

Membership in our neighborhood association is voluntary. We are a volunteer group of neighbors that work for the betterment of our community and to become engaged with each other.

Yoga is back in this Wednesday!

If you’ve been meaning to stretch a little more, slow down a little, or just do something good for yourself midweek, this is a great chance to jump in.

Classes are held on Wednesdays from 6–7 PM at Woodlawn Presbyterian Church, Fellowship Hall (2612 12th St. N., facing 12th St. N.).

June 10, 17, 24

The class is easygoing and open to all levels, including beginners. It’s also donation-based.

Just bring a yoga mat or large towel, wear comfortable clothes, and come as you are.

Led by Ruben Vasquez of Simple Yoga, who has more than 25 years of experience teaching students of all levels.

🐰 One of our neighbors is hosting an Easter Egg Hunt in the SE Quadrant of Woodlawn Circle, and all are welcome!

There will be light bites and drinks, plus 3 age-based egg hunts:

🥚 4:30 p.m. – New Movers (12–18 months)
🥚 4:45 p.m. – Little Bunnies (ages 2–4)
🥚 5:00 p.m. – Big Bunnies Egg Chase for older kids

If your child is participating, please bring a basket and 12 filled eggs per child participating (non-candy items preferred).

RSVP IS REQUIRED by Friday, 4/3 at noon, so enough food can be ordered.

The City is taking applications for the Community Benefits Advisory Council (CBAC)—a chance for a local resident to help shape how community benefits are prioritized in future development projects.

Schedule a special collection by submitting a photo in the SeeClickFix app or calling 727-893-7398.

• Pickup dates: Dec. 29, 2025 – Feb. 9, 2026
• Prep your tree: Remove lights, ornaments, stands, and decorations. Place the tree where trash is normally collected before 7 a.m.
