Our goal is to assist grassroots efforts and facilitate shared experiences for the purpose of citizen empowerment. We strive to educate citizens about paths toward sustainability. We seek to work in the spirit and methods of Sojourner Truth and other elders who “spoke truth to power”.

This garden is the work of several engaged members in the community and thanks to the funding from MLK Day of Service grant. Thank you Carla Bristol, Trevor Mallory, Theresa Jones, Jerjuan Green, Darryl Rouson and so many others...... We will have a harvest event soon for the community to reap the benefits and contribute back to the soil. (Stay tuned)
