In Memoriam
With a heavy heart, we share the passing of our dear band member, Kathy Hewitt, on July 16, 2026 at the age of 80.
Many of us met Kathy when she joined the Majorette group in 1996. We quickly learned what a special person she was when she openly shared that she was a cancer survivor. Her strength and positive spirit were truly inspirational.
Kathy was always welcoming, friendly, and ready to help. She embodied our "cheerful and flexible" majorette motto and always had a smile that made everyone feel comfortable.
Even when twirling became too difficult, Kathy would still come visit the group. She cherished the performances, the trips, and especially the friendships she made with her fellow majorettes and the band at large.
Kathy touched so many lives through her friendships, her work in real estate, and her band family. She will be deeply missed.
Much love to you, Kathy. Thank you for the memories, the friendship and the inspiration. Rest in Peace.
