We specialize in fly fishing, offshore fishing adventures, duck hunting for veterans

Our team is comprised of extraordinary individuals from the community who strive to meet the needs of Veterans in need of a healthy outlet. We focus our activities on strengthening fellowship and the network of adaptive resources for veterans. As part of our program we offer gatherings in an outdoors setting to enjoy a variety of healing recreation. This promotes healing through camaraderie, provi

ding ample opportunities for veterans to learn new skills and build their network of support while engaging the outdoors. Though our focus through much of the year is fishing related programs such as fly casting, fly tying seminars, inshore and offshore fishing, and kayaking our network of supporters provide many other adventure based retreats for veterans. Other team building retreats involve camping, hunting, and domestic agriculture through partner organizations and sponsors.

It’s with deep regret I share the loss of our beloved brother. If you knew Jon Voelkel you knew a man whose kindness could move mountains, and the love for his family and children knew no end. I ask for your prayers for the family of our beloved brother. He will always smile big from heavens and look after us. His loss is a void that cannot be filled and we will always remember him as a faithful brother who always stood by his values. RIP, Brother.

Today marks a major milestone for our organization. This is the combined efforts of hard work from our staff, funding from our sponsors, and a deep love for the veterans we serve weekly. We would like to thank so many of you for your trust in what we do and the belief that together we can make a positive difference in the lives of our veterans. This is only the beginning. Over the last 12 months we have hosted 86 veterans and harvested a total of 115 feral hogs. That means food on tables thanks to intentional and ethical conservation. We impact the lives of veterans for the better, and by way, we positively impact our ecosystem. It’s a win-win!
